Army Mom Patriotic Card

Happy March 4th

Being a 76er and proud Army Mom I wanted to create a series of patriotic cards offering hope, love and encouragement for others. My first card in this series is a very clean and simple design representing all my Army Mom's out there.

If you happened to see my blog post yesterday. You would have learned the 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. On the 4th day of each month I plan to share with you a stunning card or project with detailed instructions. Giving you the ability to create these projects on your own. Included below is a detailed list of all the supplies used to complete this card

So let's get started.

                                                                        Product List

To get started, you only need three colors of cardstock Daffodil Delight, Whisper White, and Basic Black. The Daffodil Delight cardstock is the the base of the card measuring 5.5 x 11 inches and scored at 4.25 on the 11 inch side. With a bonefolder go ahead and score cardstock in half and fold. White cardstock measures 5.25 x 4 inches and Black cardstock measurement is 5 x 3.34 inches. My favorites adhesive is tear tape yours might be either a liquid glue or tape runner. Go ahead and adhesive to your black card stock attaching it to the center of the white card stock and the white cardstock is attached to the front of the Daffodil Delight card base.

Next step is to die cut out the stars using the Stitched Stars Dies.
Use the second largest star die with Daffodil Delight, third largest with Basic Black and fourth largest with Whisper White. Then use adhesives to attach and layer smallest to largest stars.

These are the Dies Stitched Star Dies below.

With the Playful Alphabet Dies dies cut the word ARMY with Daffodil Delight card stock and word Mom with the Whisper White cardstock.

Before you start to glue and attached letters to card. I would suggest arranging the letters on card to see how they look first. Once you like the arrangement then you can proceed to attach. To make it easier I first attached the letters spelling mom then the final letters Army. As you can see with a few simple dies and sheets of cardstock a very beautiful and stunning card can be made.

Thank you very much for sharing this wonderful card with me. Please let me know your thoughts. Hugs and happy crafting blessings,

Darlene

PROUD ARMY MOM 76ER CARDS

Patriotic Cards coming Soon!!

I'm so excited to celebrate and embrace not only myself but my love of our country.

By making Patriotic cards and crafts and sharing with my crafting community.

As a 76er which means born in 1976 a Bicentennial Baby. I have always had a deep love of our country. Growing up I have felt proud to know we are decedents of the Mayflower. Many of my ancestors fought in the Revolutionary War and lived in the North. Serving our country has been a family tradition my father was in Navy, my son's father just retired from the Navy and more recently my son is enlisted in the Army. His courage and patriotic heart to serve our country is breathtaking.

These and so many more reasons I feel so honored and blessed to live in the USA.

Proud to be an American and to celebrate the 4th of July each and every year!

I'm so Proud of my soldier knowing he's making a difference!

These hashtags #Armymom #Armystrong #mothersofsolders #proudarmymom #Armymomstrong #myfavoritesolder #blessed #serve
